-The 2012 'ALSA' Company Trip @ Bali-

Never really thought that i would return to this beautiful place again.

After 4 long yrs (seems long to me haha)

here i am landed in the wonderful land of-- BALI again =)

Bali is still very much the same. Beautiful, peaceful and sunny.

The people remains kind, helpful and passionate.

I guess the only difference would be the companions who im travelling with

and also the way i experience Bali this time.

Months ago, i was invited to join ShyBoy's company trip to Bali together with his family.

At tat point of time, i havent really meet his family yet but to my surprise,

*yes. i surprise myself*

i said yes without hesitation. hahaha ijustdunnowhy.

Anyway, it was fun and the only complain i have was---

3 Days 2 Nights is just NOT ENOUGH!!!!

especially it was raining heavily on the first day!!!!

So. Yea, basically we've got only 1 day to play. =(

DAY 1

Taking MAS this time =)

Sleepyhead. Flight was too early plus he has to pick me up frm my place at 5 in the morning.

Dinner Time @ Hard Rock Cafe due to the rain =(((

We cant go anywhere except wandering around in the Hotel.

Good thing is, i get to eat my NACHOS that i love so much.

Down side of it---- i had so much *pretty much the whole big plate*

until i almost puke and i dowan Nachos anymore.

*at least not for these few months*

DAY 2

The Best Husband Award---- Uncle Alan hahahaha

superrrr cutee!!!

Instead of visiting Ubud and those beautiful temples, we went for watersports.

Played marble boat, jet ski, banana boat, flying-fish and most importantly>>>

Our first time diving experience =)

The experience wasnt really a pleasant one cos the water is too muddy

to see anything and corals are not tat nice in BALI =((

thinking of trying it again in Sabah next time kekeke.

After all the activities, settled down at some local warung and had some local delicacies.

Nasi campur is still the best. A little bit of everything just like the one i had 4 yrs ago =).

It is a 'MUST-DO' in Bali to have sunset seafood dinner by the beach.

Pricey i know. But its the experience that counts =)

Spent some really great times with my families and close frens.

However, speaking of lucks, need not mention that me being a dragon and 犯太歲,

my luck jus cant get any worst this yr =(

(eg. losing money while gambling, losing games, fall sick, car got knocked, left things behind at trip)

*Funny thing is, i have nvr lose money during CNY gambling session for the past years, and

i dont left things behind during trips im always careful hmmmpf!!!! *

The 2012 eve begins with me in my little blue dress and my gorgeous purple suede heels.

A rather simple celebration to wrap up the yr.

Dinner with shyboy's family where his dad kept pouring wine into my glass hehe.

Happy dessert time at MeetFresh taking our own sweet time to finish our orders.

Jam all the way back to count down with my family and watch the awesome fireworks.

Last but not Least, Cuddling by the couch watching some disgusting documentary show.

Everything is jus nice and perfect (except the jamming part poor boy~).

Then i realise,

at 18, u'll be squeezing with the crowd counting down at the busiest place of the state.

at 24, u just wanna give out ur first kiss of the yr to ur most beloved one.

at 30, u might just wanna sleep off the eve with ur love one beside u.

at 40, u'll be too tired to even celebrate after putting kids to bed.

at 50, u might be bz worrying about ur kids cos kids went off to COUNT DOWN

(jus like u when u're 18)

at 60, u might be glad that u'll still be able to celebrate eve and embrace the coming yr.

OR MAYBE

u'll be like my mom~~~

She's 54 and she brought 2 of her maid to watch fireworks with her, together with her

daughter aka me and her bf, and in the meantime her sons are both no where to be found =.=

(lost in the crowd)

but whatever it is,

embrace the coming yr with lots of faith and hope.

Short Trip to SABAH~

Its a rather short trip with only 3 days and 2 nights in Sabah.

We didnt get to do anything 'tourist-ish' haha.

Partly becos the main purpose of this trip is to attend the wedding.

*it's my sis-in-law's brother's wedding*

i know. its weird. ppl do asked y am i attending.

Answer is rather simple. becos. i know him and we are good frens. and

WE ARE FAMILY hahaha

its mostly hanging around the hotel, makan, and the wedding.

Nothing much but most importantly i get to spend some really quality time with

my jimui before she starts her hectic bz working life =))))

and not to forget spending quality time with my beloved siblings.

it's been a long while we didnt hang out like this hehe

nice and cozy place. i like the room~~~

chit chatting and chillaxing in the room~~

we wanted to buy the whole gingerbread house at first.

so we jus bought some small cookies to kill our craves~>.<

went to the pool but it rained the moment we stepped outside *potong steam*

and then there we are, swimming, in our hotel bathtub and watching drama at the same time

hahahaha

then again, its dinner timeee yuhuuuuu

needless to say, seafoods are super nice and fresh.

but to be honest, i still prefer the salted egg crab in KL.

Singapore is quite a special place to me.

It's the place where my mommy was born =)

i used to visit there often cos some of my granduncles staying there,

and recently my closest auntie has just migrated there as well. =((

Been there alot alot of times but ironically, i nvr really go around Singapore.

So this time, ShyBoy decided to bring me there for my Birthday Tripppp.

Yeay!

*Long Celebration this year kekeke*

DAY 1

Woke up extra early on this morning to prepare 'low-fat' sandwiches =)

so that we wont starve on our road trip keke.

We started our journey around 8.45 am

there we are~~~

cheeeeeeseeee =))) 4 hours to go!

It was quite a pleasant ride. The thought of driving for 4 hours scares us at first,

but all the talking laughing and eating sandwiches makes it easy =)

we checked into Marina Bay Sand at approximately 1pm.

it has got a HUGEEEE bath tubbbb in it.

can sleep in there if we have extra guest hahahaha

Chilled abit in our room and soon after that, we went and take a

look at the hotel's signature SkyPark =)

The signature skypark is indeed beautiful and breathtaking @.@

and try to find food. We wanted to have the brazillian buffet as lunch at first.

so excited at first.

Small bites turn out to be GOOD!!!!

but soon after that we realise the one in Malaysia still taste better.

THQ LIM, i wan go Meng Tin eat again!!!!!

Done with 'small bite', shop around, went back to the hotel and work out

at their gym *need to make full use of the hotel facilities* kakaka

and then, RESUME our brazilian buffet plan!!!!!!

one thing weird abt singaporean is, they dont do early breakfast,

their dimsum shop and all is all open at 1130am on the weekends =.=

Their DimSum is superrrr goodd!!!

Time flies~

It's THE time of the year again =)

I havent been celebrating my birthday in Malaysia for 2 yrs already.

This year,

no more romantic snowy white birthday,

instead i have a very warmth birthday celebration with my oldest bunch of friends =)

I cant be any happier.

Everything is perfect.

I'm one lucky girl *wink*

No romantic candle light dinner. No dressing up.

Seriously. Who needs candle light dinner when u have crabbies like these~~~

ShyBoy brought me to this seafood place in Bangsar to have my favourite crabbies!!!

We found this place frm a blog, and we decided to try it.

These crabbies are sooo yummmy!!!

Having mantou with the creamy butter sauce is indeed HEAVEN~~

hehe

But we decided not to go back anymore cos this place is really expensive.

We can get similar yummy crabs at South Sea Subang Seafood with a cheaper price.

Anyway. its a pleasant experience. hehe

Yummy honeydew sago after meal is jus as satisfying as having a piece of western pudding dessert after meal =))))

Went for a movie @ Gardens after dinner.

We watched 'immortals'. #.#

Eventhough the movie suck big time, it didnt affect our mood hehe

Before heading home, ShyBoy surprise me with these gorgeous birthday pressie.

Just done washing up and here i am, blogging about my weekend again =)

It's a long long day for me.

Time passes really quickly, and i've done sooo many things in just one day.

Woke up early morning at 7, washed up and went to class.

After 'memancing ikan' at the boring civil procedure class,

went to pavilion to choose small little gift for tonight.

And yes, today is a special day because>>>>

Im meeting shy boy's parents tonight for the first time.

And they said they gotta celebrate my birthday for me.

Major OMGG, nervous level hit the ceiling hahaha

picked up some nice dark choc frm Godiva + nice Spring rolls frm the loaf =)

真的好久好久沒有一幫人去看電影了

感覺上畢業後，看電影就是和男朋友／好姐妹的事，

也忘了最後一次跟老朋友們看是几時了

《那些年》

理所當然的就是要和“那些年”的好友們看的啦 =)

這部小品，贊!!!

真的想起了很多中學時期的事

這也算是第一部讓我同時爆笑拍手＋落淚的電影

（那一幕真的超酷超吊超感動的）

看完後我們也討論起當年大家一起做的傻事

還有還有～大家的初戀～hahahaha

忽然發現，我在中學生涯里，

還真的是超不起眼的!

而我當時應該是忙著夢遊＋幫忙喬事情＋abi 的人肉tissue & 哭枕

It's kinda amazing seeing how fast they grow.

Baby to toddler, and toddler till they can run well speak well.

1. Brunch with Meow

On a sunny thursday morning, meow and i decided to meet up after

im done with my work and had a little brunch session @ Pavilion hehe.

It was quite a short quickie catch up but at least,

I. get. to. drag. her. out. from. her. notes. and. see. her!!!

2. Friday Night- PLAN B

It was all random, and yes, that's us.

What it takes is just one simple blogpost of Ms. Qiu,

a comment of mine, a few whatsapps,

and there we are, 'happily' jamming all our ass-es up to Bangsar at 7pm to

have our AWESOME MOSOME dinner at PLAN B~~~

QiuQiu and her Smoked Salmon Sandwich.

went for fish spa and full body massagesss.

Body massages was good despite the fact that i tot the lady-massager

gonna break my bones and the boy actually afraid of body massages.

New discovery indeed. but he was okay with the massages session *thank god*

No matter how many times i tried this kenko fish spa,

it tingles me still. So ticklish and so much fun.

Have been watching too many korean shows and dramas lately.

It kills my time but it does not help killing my craves toward their food.

There is this one day, i got so sick over the fact that there's no good korean

restaurant in Newcastle, i decided to cook them myself and not to

mention how much i miss my eating time in Koba London =((

Tried to cook Doenjang Chigae (大醬湯) yest---- Success =)

Tried cooking Dukbokki earlier---- Succeeded too =)

im a happy girl now hehe

Austria 之旅

很棒的一次三人行

很幸運也很幸福

這趟旅程

見識了Vienna的美

放肆的吃著一級棒的甜點

第一次坐上了童話里的馬車

看了令我驚嘆的教堂

白癡的蹦走著

見識了著名的熊不倫宮還有其驚人的‘size'

第一次走路走得想罵髒話

也領悟到腳痛和迷宮是最壞的組合

也領悟到累了一天然後check in Austria 最棒的餐廳是最幸福的事

看了連我這個很迷classical的人看了都會想打瞌睡的opera

但真的很好聽

迷迷糊糊的來到世界文化遺產之一的Hallstatt

然後把它列為我到過最漂亮最平靜和平的地方

然後領悟到人類在大自然面前是何等渺小

然後住進了童話故事里的小木屋

無端端的進了鹽坑然後在買了很多的鹽

然後在停下腳步在湖邊休息，寫著postcard時發現

自己真的很幸福也很幸運

告別Hallstatt後來到了Salzburg，

然後被台灣來的妹妹叫阿姨至今還在耿耿於懷

然後在Austria的最後一天去看了老朋友 ‘老莫’ 住的地方

看了他生前彈的鋼琴，聽著從小陪伴著我長大的曲子

Last but not least

要感謝這倆個傻婆，

妳們讓這趟旅程拿滿分

雖然幸運女神是我hahahahahaha
